Reservations Co-Ordinator

Reporting To: Revenue and Groups Supervisor

Department: Sales

Hours of Work: 5 days per week (40 hours per week) which will include alternate Saturdays and may also involve evenings subject to business requirements in line with sales activities.

Job Summary: To deal with all incoming reservations for leisure bookings, maximizing revenue potential at all times. This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Role Objectives:

• To manage all leisure enquiries / reservations to a five star standard
• To yield the demands of the market in a way to maximise all sources of revenue
• To regularly investigate the competitors to compare the product on offer
• To be familiar with targets, budgets and market segments

Skills and experience required to perform the role:

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Passion for customer service
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Very strong time management and organisational ability
• Knowledge of the Hotel industry
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of Micros Entirety and KX system an advantage
• Ability to juggle workload and be flexible
• Attention to detail
• A “can do” approach to all tasks
