Receptionist (including occasional Porter duties) – Permanent Basis

The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that a warm and professional welcome is provided to all our guests, first time, on time, every time. The Receptionist will ensure a consistently high quality of service to all guests and support other members of the front desk team and draw on previous customer facing experience to achieve service and revenue targets. An able communicator, the Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels, therefore a high standards of literacy, numeracy and computer systems are also essential. The Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their immaculate presentation standards and attention to detail at all times.


Duties will include; check in and out of guests including rooming of guests; effective reservation & event enquiry handling; collating guest service feedback; giving, transporting staff to and from work; housekeeping tasks as required; receiving and handover of information; accurate billing and posting of revenue; effective general enquiry handling from guests and colleagues.


A knowledge of a computerised hotel management system, preferably Opera, is desirable although not essential as training will provided to the right candidate.


Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. Please note there is no live-in accommodation available.


Shift work.


Salary: meets national minimum wage.

Room Attendants

We are currently looking for Room Attendants on a Casual basis.


Duties will include routine activities in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms under supervision of housekeeping supervisor. Room Attendants must promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, and friendly.

Laundry Porter

Stapleford Park - seeking to appoint a Laundry Porter on a full-time (40hours) basis.


Working under the direction of the Head Housekeeper, the incumbent will take responsibility for the sorting, collection and delivery of laundry, ensuring an excellent and efficient service is maintained at all times, and that the service is carried out in a courteous, efficient and pleasant manner. Heavy lifting will be a daily requirement of this post.


Additional Requirements:

  • To maintain excellent relations between colleagues. 
  • To co-operate fully with the Housekeeper and senior members of staff.
  • To be flexible and available when busy times demand
  • Uniform to be clean and well pressed.

Casual Therapists

We are currently looking for Therapists on a casual basis, mainly to cover weekends but also some weekday shifts between 10am and 6pm.


To be considered you must hold an NVQ2 and 3 or equivalent in beauty therapy, have excellent customer care skills and the ability to work shifts often at short notice.


You must also have at least 2 years’ experience working in the industry.

We are currently looking for a Host on a casual basis to add to the existing team. This position is generally to cover weekends and bank holidays although other hours may be available, subject to the demands of the business.


As a Host you will ensure that all guests are welcomed to the house and endeavour to make everyone feel at home. You will encourage guests to take part in the various sporting and relaxing elements of the Estate and actively promote all packages to all our guests.

Food & Beverage Supervisor – Permanent

We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor...


As Food & Beverage Supervisor you will need to have a good ability for forward planning, motivating and supervising a team of people to perform to the best possible standard and provide an exceptional level of service. A friendly and outgoing personality and have previous experience of working within a luxury environment and an award-winning restaurant.


You will assist the departmental manager with the day-to-day running of the F&B operation, controlling any assigned operational area to the highest standards, in keeping with departmental policy and procedures. Ongoing training is offered with the role and you will be trained on food/wine combinations and the intricate side of food and wine.
