Pavilion Receptionist and Administrator

Reporting To: Golf Professional

 

Department: Clubs

 

Hours of Work: This is a full-time position and involves working some eveningsuntil 8pm and weekends on a shift rota.

 

Description of the role:

  1. To uphold and maintain a high level of customer service focused on the guests and Members golf requirements
  2. Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the Pavilion Reception
  3. To maintain a high and professional presence within the Golf Department at all times, with a positive, open and helpful manner
  4. Assist in the management of membership administration and mailings to members and potential members.
  5. Assist with member’s correspondence.
  6. Follow up and respond to all enquiries promptly and accurately.
  7. To be proactive and put forward proposals and ideas to strengthen the club
  8. To ensure that all areas around the pavilion are kept clean and tidy including the golf buggies
  9. To ensure that the range ball dispenser is kept topped up and to clear the driving range of balls as and when necessary
  10. To provide food and drink service for guests in the pavilion

Housekeeping Supervisor - £Competitive + excellent benefits

 

Stapleford Park is a 4 red star luxury country house hotel offering a spa, championship golf course, luxury accommodation, country sports & 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. We are currently seeking a Senior Housekeeper to join our team.

 

Responsibilities for the Position:

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in leading the housekeeping team.
  • Help the staff to provide a first-class service to all guests.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms and guest areas are clean according to preferred Standards, and supervise the daily tasks of the housekeepers.
  • Responsible for supervising turndown list and assisting the Housekeeping Manager with additional projects for the betterment of the property.

Essential Duties / Job Requirements:

  • Must ensure that all details of the guest rooms are held according to our Preferred Standards, including but not limited to linens, towels, carpet, tile, walls, glass and appliances, and furnishings.
  • Two years of prior experience in housekeeping is preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a high paced environment without compromising attention to detail.
  • Must be able to train employees effectively and recognize the need for coaching and counselling.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Ability to make quick decisions and possess good judgment.
  • Must be able to assist guests with any challenges to create a positive and memorable experience.
  • Good listening skills required.
  • Good interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work well with a team and individually without constant supervision.

Additional responsibilities for Housekeeping Supervisor: occasionally she / he will be handling responsibilities in the absence of Deputy Housekeeper or Head Housekeeper.

Casual Therapists

We are currently looking for Therapists on a casual basis, mainly to cover weekends but also some weekday shifts between 10am and 6pm.

 

To be considered you must hold an NVQ2 and 3 or equivalent in beauty therapy, have excellent customer care skills and the ability to work shifts often at short notice.

 

You must also have at least 2 years’ experience working in the industry.

Receptionist

Stapleford Park Hotel is looking for a Receptionist (including occasional Porter duties) on a Casual basis.

 

The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that a warm and professional welcome is provided to all our guests, first time, on time, every time. The Receptionist will ensure a consistently high quality of service to all guests and support other members of the front desk team and draw on previous customer facing experience to achieve service and revenue targets. An able communicator, the Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels, therefore a high standards of literacy, numeracy and computer systems are also essential. The Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their immaculate presentation standards and attention to detail at all times.

 

Duties will include; check in and out of guests including rooming of guests; effective reservation & event enquiry handling; collating guest service feedback; giving, transporting staff to and from work; housekeeping tasks as required; receiving and handover of information; accurate billing and posting of revenue; effective general enquiry handling from guests and colleagues.

 

We would prefer applicants to have a working knowledge of a computerised hotel management system, preferably Opera, however training will be provided to the right candidate.

 

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. Please note there is no live-in accommodation available at this property.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join the Front Office team on a permanent basis. The position involves meeting and greeting guests, assisting with luggage to and from the rooms and the transportation of guests and staff to and from several locations. General cleaning and tidying of area to maintain hotel standards and any other duties as requested. Full training will be provided.

We are currently looking for a Host on a casual basis to add to the existing team. This position is generally to cover weekends and bank holidays although other hours may be available, subject to the demands of the business.

 

As a Host you will ensure that all guests are welcomed to the house and endeavour to make everyone feel at home. You will encourage guests to take part in the various sporting and relaxing elements of the Estate and actively promote all packages to all our guests.

As Food & Beverage Supervisor you will need to have a good ability for forward planning, motivating and supervising a team of people to perform to the best possible standard and provide an exceptional level of service. A friendly and outgoing personality and have previous experience of working within a luxury environment and an award-winning restaurant.

 

You will assist the departmental manager with the day-to-day running of the F&B operation, controlling any assigned operational area to the highest standards, in keeping with departmental policy and procedures. Ongoing training is offered with the role and you will be trained on food/wine combinations and the intricate side of food and wine.
