Stapleford Park is a 4 red star luxury country house hotel offering a spa, championship golf course, luxury accommodation, country sports & 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. We are currently seeking a n Event Coordinator to join our team.


You should have a background in Hospitality to be considered for this role, with excellent Customer Service skills, along with an initiative to implement new ideas. You will be working alongside one other Meeting & Events Coordinator and report in to the Operations Manager.


Main duties of the Events Co-ordinator role include:

  • Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of house areas.
  • To positively approach all sales opportunities in order to maximise sales and revenue by yielding the business in order to achieve the Hotel’s sales plan.
  • To consistently deliver an excellent service to all guests and clients making enquiries or bookings at the hotel, with face to face and telephone meetings.
  • To respond to any customer enquiry within the guidelines set by the hotel.
  • To be fully aware of the Hotel’s facilities and take every opportunity of promoting the hotel.
  • To exercise efficient diary management in order to manage the yield within the conference office.
  • Develop and maintain sales information through Opera Sales and Catering following the Company guidelines.
  • To produce statistical information as required including weekly forecasting, cancelled, denied or refused business.
  • To attend any communication meetings where appropriate.
  • To help host events during busy seasonal times.
  • To ensure all conference bills are processed and that they are posted on a daily
  • To produce table plans and place setting etc. for events
  • To help manage all administration for the Events Office.
  • To liaise with external suppliers ensuring the supply of their goods and services meet the requirements of the clients, and charges are passed on accordingly.
  • To prepare reports for Management Team.

Marketing Executive

Stapleford Park is a 4 Red Star luxury country house hotel offering a spa, championship golf course, luxury accommodation, country sports & a 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. We are currently seeking a passionate Marketing Executive to join our team.


The Role:

  • Design, manage and drive the annual marketing & PR plan in accordance with the hotels business plan to ensure that objectives are met
  • Presentation of the marketing plan at each monthly marketing meeting - present past ROI, proactively suggest new activity and react to business conditions within the hotel and market place with effective and fluid communication to all stakeholders
  • Responsible for effective and quality database management & e-commerce including golf & spa members plus all other revenue sectors, and deliver an effective contact strategy (CRM model)
  • Manage all relationship with appointed agencies including PR agents
  • Manage and drive the design and production process for all marketing collateral both retention and acquisition material
  • Management of the Stapleford Park website including updates
  • Management of other networks including Facebook and LinkedIn
  • To offer HODs marketing support and help them drive revenue through effective DM & print controlled within brand guidelines
  • Image Management System: To be wholly responsible for the smooth running of the system and to include, scanning and cataloguing of transparencies, duplication of transparencies and distribution to third parties
  • Management of all the 3rd party websites for content and imagery and packages.
  • Keep abreast of current trends and activities

For this position you will need the following experience, skills and personal qualities:

  • A minimum of 2 years working in Hospitality/Food and Beverage Marketing
  • Knowledge & understanding of the hotel industry
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Creative flair and a desire to innovate
  • A Commercial understanding
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage people at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Emotionally resilient: able to manage a high workload & tight deadlines
  • Strong PC skills – Powerpoint / Excel
  • Willingness to travel within the UK

Receptionist (including occasional Porter duties) – Permanent Basis

The Receptionist is responsible for ensuring that a warm and professional welcome is provided to all our guests, first time, on time, every time. The Receptionist will ensure a consistently high quality of service to all guests and support other members of the front desk team and draw on previous customer facing experience to achieve service and revenue targets. An able communicator, the Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their ability to converse with a wide variety of guests and colleagues at all levels, therefore a high standards of literacy, numeracy and computer systems are also essential. The Receptionist must be able to demonstrate their immaculate presentation standards and attention to detail at all times.


Duties will include; check in and out of guests including rooming of guests; effective reservation & event enquiry handling; collating guest service feedback; giving, transporting staff to and from work; housekeeping tasks as required; receiving and handover of information; accurate billing and posting of revenue; effective general enquiry handling from guests and colleagues.


A knowledge of a computerised hotel management system, preferably Opera, is desirable although not essential as training will provided to the right candidate.


Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. Please note there is no live-in accommodation available.


Shift work.

Food & Beverage Services Manager – Permanent

Stapleford Park is a 4 red star luxury country house hotel offering a spa, championship golf course, luxury accommodation, country sports & 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Services Manager to join our team.


Applicants must have previous management experience at a Rosette restaurant and be a highly effective business, and people manager.


The role:

  • Fully operational, ‘hands on’ role, as well as back of house duties
  • Driving sales forward to ensure maximum profitability
  • Implement and monitor departmental training and development plans
  • To be responsible for Health and Safety issues within the Food and Beverage department
  • Full operational responsibility for all aspects of the food and beverage units

The Person:

  • Ideal candidate comes from a high volume, high end background and if possible with multi operations management experience
  • Outstanding experience in Food and Beverage management and the ability to display excellent customer care skills in a fast paced environment
  • Operational experience an advantage
  • Good Financial awareness with a full understanding of Food and Beverage revenue streams and controls
  • Proven man-management, coaching and team building skills
  • Good understanding of H&S legislation

We are currently looking for Therapists on a casual basis, mainly to cover weekends but also some weekday shifts between 10am and 6pm.


To be considered you must hold an NVQ2 and 3 or equivalent in beauty therapy, have excellent customer care skills and the ability to work shifts often at short notice.


You must also have at least 2 years’ experience working in the industry.
