Duties will include routine activities in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms under supervision of housekeeping supervisor.

Senior Sous Chef

Stapleford Park is a 4 Red Star luxury country house hotel offering a spa, championship golf course, luxury accommodation, country sports & a 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. We are currently seeking a passionate Senior Sous Chef to join our team.

 

Role

The successful candidate should currently be operating as a Sous Chef and would work in a large kitchen team and be able to show a stable CV with relevant experience. Your duties would include the everyday overseeing of the kitchen with the Sous Chef and the ability to organise and train the junior members of the team as well as running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.

 

You will need sound experience in a similar calibre restaurants to 2 AA standard ideally as Sous Chef, be comfortable with working to high volumes and have a proven track record of meeting the highest standards with experience of managing teams of up to 12 chefs, as at times you will be deputizing for the Head Chef.

 

As Senior Sous Chef you must to be passionate, committed, focused and able to work under pressure on all sections.

 

You will need: -

  • Excellent command of English
  • Proven success in similar calibre restaurants 
  • The ability to work alone and part of a team under guidance from the Head Chef.
  • Ideally have Restaurant and Banqueting experience.

Senior Event Coordinator £Competitive + Excellent benefits

Stapleford Park is a 4 red star luxury country house hotel offering a spa, championship golf course, luxury accommodation, country sports & 2 AA Rosette Restaurant. We are currently seeking a n Event Coordinator to join our team.

 

You should have a background in Hospitality to be considered for this role, with excellent Customer Service skills, along with an initiative to implement new ideas. You will be working alongside one other Meeting & Events Coordinator and report in to the Operations Manager.

 

Main duties of the Events Co-ordinator role include:

  • Supplying the highest possible levels of customer care and service whether in the public eye or in the back of house areas.
  • To positively approach all sales opportunities in order to maximise sales and revenue by yielding the business in order to achieve the Hotel’s sales plan.
  • To consistently deliver an excellent service to all guests and clients making enquiries or bookings at the hotel, with face to face and telephone meetings.
  • To respond to any customer enquiry within the guidelines set by the hotel.
  • To be fully aware of the Hotel’s facilities and take every opportunity of promoting the hotel.
  • To exercise efficient diary management in order to manage the yield within the conference office.
  • Develop and maintain sales information through Opera Sales and Catering following the Company guidelines.
  • To produce statistical information as required including weekly forecasting, cancelled, denied or refused business.
  • To attend any communication meetings where appropriate.
  • To help host events during busy seasonal times.
  • To ensure all conference bills are processed and that they are posted on a daily
  • To produce table plans and place setting etc. for events
  • To help manage all administration for the Events Office.
  • To liaise with external suppliers ensuring the supply of their goods and services meet the requirements of the clients, and charges are passed on accordingly.
  • To prepare reports for Management Team.

Reservation Agent

We are looking for a Reservations Agent who must have previous experience of working in a Spa environment. You must be energetic, friendly and well-spoken.

 

Primary responsibilities are to book appointments via telephone from our Reservations Office. This position requires great communication skills, both verbal and written and you must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well within a team.

 

Full Time position – June/July start with flexible attitude to working including Saturdays.

Casual Therapists

We are currently looking for Therapists on a casual basis, mainly to cover weekends but also some weekday shifts between 10am and 6pm.

 

To be considered you must hold an NVQ2 and 3 or equivalent in beauty therapy, have excellent customer care skills and the ability to work shifts often at short notice.

 

You must also have at least 2 years’ experience working in the industry.

Food and Beverage Associates

We are currently seeking numerous Food and Beverage Associates to strengthen the team on a casual basis.

 

This role will include:

 

Assisting the restaurant manager and banqueting manager in the day to day running of the operations. Working efficiently to the highest standards keeping in line to departmental policy and procedures within any assigned station and maximising profitability whilst ensuring the highest possible standards of service are delivered.
