The Handa Senior Masters Launch Party
200 guests assembled on Monday evening at Stapleford Park, the country house hotel outside Melton Mowbray, for the Launch Party of the Handa Senior Masters. Stapleford Park has been selected by the European Seniors Tour to host their latest tournament.
2010 Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters Presented by the Stapleford Forum a
resounding success
The Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters came to a close on Sunday 7th March when Thailand’s Boonchu Ruangkit was crowned the 2010 Aberdeen Brunei Senior Masters champion after a very exciting play off. The event which was presented by the Stapleford Forum was the 2nd in the 2010 European Senior Tour Schedule; later this year The Handa Senior Masters Presented by the Stapleford Forum will take place here at Stapleford Park from 12-14th May 2010. With a prize fund of £400,000 the top name senior professions are set to be out in full force for this inaugural event in the UK.
European Senior Tour event debuts at Stapleford Park
Stapleford Park, the English sporting country estate, will host the European Senior Tour for the first time when the inaugural Handa Senior Masters Presented by The Stapleford Forum takes place there from 12-14 May 2010.
With a prize fund of £400,000, it will be one of the largest on the 2010 Senior Tour schedule and as a result is likely to have a significant impact on the outcome of the Senior Tour Order of Merit, won last year by Sam Torrance.

England Cricket Captain wins Stapleford Park Golf Tournament
Ashes winner Michael Vaughan took the first prize at “The Race to Brunei” Golf Tournament, staged at Stapleford Park Hotel in Leicestershire.
‘I have won a lot in cricket including the Ashes, but this is the first golf tournament I have won’ said the former English cricket captain. Michael Vaughan pipped Matt Dawson, England Rugby World Cup winner into second place.

Bonfire & Fireworks Night
On Sunday 8th November Stapleford Park hosted its annual bonfire and firework evening.
Guests were wowed by the fantastic firework display by Big Bang Fireworks and were warmed with hot soup, a hog roast and mulled wine.
Top Chef’s New Dishes Go Down a Storm
A top chef’s culinary delights went down a storm at Sherrier C of E Primary School in Lutterworth. 410 pupils at the school had the chance to try two new meat dishes for free at the launch event before the new meals are introduced to all 243 schools in Leicestershire after half term.
