Exciting News From Stapleford Park For 2008

We would like to announce that for the first time in its twenty year history as a hotel, the main house at Stapleford Park will be closed between 3rd February and 6th March 2008 to undergo a major refurbishment.  We are pleased to confirm that the Spa, Gymnasium, Golf Club Pavilion and Pool will remain open during the refurbishment.

The Main Kitchen is to be completely revamped and will be fitted out with the latest technology.  It is twenty years since the existing kitchen was installed and the changes will allow the creative culinary skills of our Head Chef to grow from strength to strength.

Whilst the kitchen is inoperative we are also going to take the opportunity to carry out refurbishment works in our main Dining Room, The Grinling Gibbons Room, as well as The Library Bar, The Harborough Room, The Old Kitchen and some of the public areas.

In addition, three exciting new suites are to be created in the Archway, which will be connected internally to the main house.  The Meeting Rooms in the Archway building will also be updated.

Most exciting of all is the work to the Grand Hall.  A more modern feeling to the current traditional style will be created with the flexibility of being able to divide the room into two with a soundproof screen.  There will also be new carpets and curtains fitted and the Orangery Bar is to be increased in size.

We are very pleased to be proceeding with these works, however, are sorry that the main house will not be available between 3rd February and 6th March 2008.  However, we trust that you will visit us soon after to view the changes we have made as we prepare for our 21st birthday in 2009.
