Stapleford Park Summer Ball in aid of Charity

Stapleford Park Country House Hotel recently held it’s annual member’s summer ball, known to be one of the best members event organised.

This time the summer ball was organised jointly with a local charity in Rutland called the Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre. Rutland Rotaract Family Support Centre is an organisation that provides activities for families who have a child with a special need. They provide services such as counselling, special needs swimming lessons, music and movement therapy sessions and, a sports and leisure programme. The service is aimed at children aged 0 to 19 years old.

Prizes on auction that evening, which included a signature hat worn by Michael Schumacher, a ball signed by the Manchester United Team, signature glove worn by golf champion Phil Michelson and many other exciting prizes. The highest bid that night was a Manchester United signature ball, which fetch a prize of £1,500. In total that evening, more than six thousand pounds were raised for the support centre. “It was an amazing night and a very successful event. Stapleford Park put up a really excellent show that evening and hats off to all staff of Stapleford Park in helping our centre to raise money for the unfortunate ones.” Says Graeme Phipps from the support centre.

Events at Stapleford Park recently included the Black & Diamond birthday bash that attracted A-List celebrities such as Michael Jackson, Caprice, Raquel Welch, Faye Dunaway, Jerry Hall and Don Johnson, and celebrity weddings of Michael Carrick from the England and Manchester United team.

We here at Stapleford Park are delighted that the event went well. Everyone was happy and danced all night long. Stapleford Park has always been involved actively in supporting local charities and also local community within the surrounding areas. By doing this it will make every child’s dream come true.
