Sous Chef

£32K per annum + share of tips

Here at Stapleford Park we are always looking for great people to work with us and we are currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our great kitchen team.

The successful candidate should currently be operating as a Sous Chef or be a Senior CDP who is looking for progression to the next level.

What will I do?

  • The everyday overseeing of the kitchen
  • Organising and training the junior members of the team
  • Running the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.

What do I need?

  • A passion for cooking and managing a team
  • The ability to work under pressure and deliver an exceptional product
  • A good level of English
  • Success in similar calibre restaurants
  • The ability to work alone and part of a team under guidance from the Head Chef
  • Previous Restaurant and Banqueting experience

You should be comfortable with working to high volumes and have a proven track record of meeting the highest standards with experience of managing a team, as at times you will be deputizing for the Head Chef.

We offer free meals on duty, free onsite parking, uniforms and free transport to/from Melton Mowbray.
