Welcome to Stapleford Park

Thank you for choosing Stapleford Park for your upcoming visit to Leicestershire.

Since closing in March, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that we can welcome you back to a Covid-secure Stapleford Park. Meaning that you can experience unparalleled luxury in a secluded safe haven.

Good to go England

Temperature Checks

Your temperature will be taken at the hotel entrance and if your temperature is 37.8 degrees or above, unfortunately, you will be declined entry and your stay re-scheduled.

Check In

We kindly ask that all guests check-in online prior to arrival. Guests will receive a pre-arrival email which will include simple instructions on how to check-in online and a link to their digital registration card.

NHS Track and Trace App

We have displayed the official NHS QR code poster in our Reception Areas so that guests can ‘check-in’ at different premises. This option as an alternative to providing their contact details once the NHS Track and Trace app is rolled out nationally (from 24 September).

Rule of Six

In line with Government guidance we are unable to take bookings for groups over 6 people.

Health Questionnaire

As part of our health screening procedure, a pre-arrival health questionnaire will be sent to guests one day before arrival, this must be completed before arriving at the Estate. If in the unfortunate case, you have any COVID-19 symptoms outlined by the Government such as a high temperature, a new persistent cough or a change or loss of taste and smell, we ask that you contact us and allow us to reschedule your stay.

Contact Person

A contact person will be provided to those checking in to clarify any questions guests may have.

Overnight Stays Only

During this time, we will only be able to welcome guests who are staying overnight at the hotel.

Luggage Handling

Luggage handling is at the discretion of guests and all employees who handle baggage will wear gloves.

Face Coverings

From the 24th September all our staff and guests will be legally required to wear face coverings or visors with the exception being whilst seated to eat or drink. We encourage you to bring your own face coverings. However, we will have a small supply of face coverings at Reception if needed.

Hand Sanitising Stations

Hand sanitising stations have been installed at the main entrance and throughout the hotel. We encourage guests to regularly disinfect their hands/wash their hands throughout their stay.

Housekeeping Procedures

Our housekeeping procedures have been reviewed and we have implemented a series of new cleaning protocols targeted to protect against Covid-19.

Daily Designated Butler

Residents will be assigned a daily designated host who will ensure that your dining experiences and activities are safe and seamless.

Amenity Pack

Upon arrival guests will receive an amenity pack for their room which includes hand sanitizer, tissues, and additional wipes.

Pre-booking

A member of our Reservations team will contact all guests seven-days before arrival to pre-book any activities and confirm dining reservations, stagger the use of the equipment and ensure social distancing.

Cleaning Cycle

There will be a visible increase in the frequency of our cleaning cycle including regular disinfection measures at all “touchpoints” along the guest's journey.

Guest Lift

The guest lift will be available to use. However, this will only be available by prior arrangement.

Cash

Cash will not be accepted. Credit (or debit) card details will be required before arrival.

“AA Sign of Confidence” Accreditation

We are undertaking the “AA Sign of Confidence” accreditation to provide an extra level of assurance meaning we are inspected by independent bodies to ensure we open in the safest possible fashion.

Social Distancing

We ask all guests and staff to respect social distancing. Please read all signage displayed and maintain social distancing.

In-room amenities

In-room amenities will be placed in your room in sealed containers.

Digital Room Compendium

All brochures and reading materials have been removed from bedrooms. In place of this will be a digital room compendium which will outline all the services available at Stapleford Park, local attractions and free online reading materials.

Room Service

Room service will be provided at no extra cost although service is restricted to delivery to the bedroom door only.

Spa

Our spa will remain closed for the foreseeable future.

Dining

During this time, we are only able to welcome residents and diners who are taking afternoon tea. We are accepting online bookings for all other dining services from the 1st November 2020. For more information please call 01572 787 000 or email reception@staplefordpark.com.

Table Service

In line with Government guidance food and drink must be ordered from, and served at, a table only.

Bar Service

Our Library Bar will now be closed between 10pm and 5am. A drinks delivery service will be available to all bedrooms from 10pm onwards.

Reservations

To maintain social distancing, all guests will need to reserve their dining times in advance. Groups of 6 or more will be assigned a complimentary private dining room for the duration of their stay. For groups of 5 or less, private dining room hire can be booked for an additional fee.

Breakfast

We have suspended all buffets. Breakfast will be available from a table service A La Carte menu. We kindly ask guests to pre-order their breakfast the night prior to dining.

Salt and Pepper Shakers

Salt and pepper shakers will be removed and available on request. They will be sanitized after each use.

Single-use Menus

Single-use menus will be placed across all outlets and reduced menus have been introduced so that guests can enjoy the finest quality produce safely.

In-room Dining Experiences

New in-room dining experiences are available throughout the day so that you can order at a time to suit you. Hot food is available from 7.00 am – 9.15 pm and a cold menu offering is available throughout the night.

Cutlery

All cutlery and napkins will be placed on tables in a vacuum-sealed bag to prevent contamination.

Our Team

All employees of Stapleford Park have taken specific training according to their functional area and we are working with supply partners to equip their staff with the necessary protective equipment. We have adhered to strict government guidance to ensure that all employees are fit to work.

Gift Vouchers

We may allow guests with an experience voucher due to expire before December 2020 to use their voucher up to 3 months beyond their expiry date. This is at the discretion of Stapleford Park and subject to availability.

Validity

All vouchers purchased up until 31st October 2020 will have a validity period starting on the 1st November 2020.

Weddings

Subject to government guidance, civil ceremonies and wedding receptions are limited to a capacity of 15 people and must adhere to strict social distancing.

Members

We are kindly asking all former members for their patience whilst we navigate this period together.

Onsite Activities

Onsite activities are still available with added protocols in place. Instructors will be asked to wash their hands regularly and may be wearing face-covers. Activities will need to be booked in advance.

Use of Facilities

Use of facilities including the swimming pool and outdoor activities such as giant chess and croquet will need to be reserved in advance and are subject to availability.
